Gwen Stefani wants in the magazines---bad!

Gwen Stefani really tries to mix it up to get her family into the magazines, she does whatever it takes: beach, boats, body surfing, fishing, theme parks, family farms, but this week she took her desperation to a new level. Gwen took her sons Kingston and Zuma Halloween costume shopping! Yes folks, Halloween is TWO MONTHS away and she's tried to beat the other celeb kids into the mags by showing her sons in their spooky costumes. Gwen has admitted that she likes paparazzi, "It's like a family album when the pics come out in the magazines..." Awwwwww....

All Hail Angelina Jolie, Grande Dame of the tabloids: Yes she does set ups!!

Back in July of 2002 Angelina Jolie was looking for a way to gracefully get out of her marriage with her goofy hubby #2 Billy Bob Thornton. She had also recently adopted Maddox, and wanted to show him off. She managed to combine the two by arranging a set-up with Us Weekly magazine to be across the street from the Oceana Hotel in Santa Monica, "playing" with her new son, and they could send a pap to take pics. Pacific Coast News photo agency got the assignment and whala, the rest is history...

Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas and the loser "pro-snowboarder" she chose as her fiance (Jesse Czincsak) have been doing staged shots with Pacific Coast News for almost a year now. They're running out of ideas though, and the couple lack that certain star quality to pull it off with campy aplomb. When you see things like washing the car at a public wash with only a bikini on, or holding up watermelons chest high at the local grocery store, you know it's photo-op desperation.
